Proficient in Japanese and in saving lives as a registered nurse, I playfully explore the world–artistically–to create raw yet beautiful work that serves clients needs and uplifts others in various societies. Utilizing teachings from world-class photographers such as Matthew Jordan Smith and Carmen Cheung, and inspiration from artists like Virgil Abloh and Gordon Parks, my experiences as a public servant and love for humanity serve as an overarching guide for my practice and how ideas are conceptualized. Primarily a lens-based artist, my work comes in additional synergistic forms such as coalition building and project design.
